An update on the STAC background I'm working on!

Nov 27, 2017

Finally finished this one! I think I roughed it out about a month ago and just wasn't inspired to finish it, but as I'm on the last leg of my stay-cation I thought it'd be fun to work on. Here's the rough and finished product!

I found a BG that I'd made about 3 years ago, not really a BG, mostly a grid and a bad rough (I regret now that I deleted it and didn't save it for a before and after), but here's the finished product after I redid the rough and then painted it. This is still in the STAC world. This is the beach.

Continuing work on my Sunny Tree Away Camp comic. Really excited about it! It lets me be creative and light, which I'm really enjoying. It's also pretty challenging to ensure everything looks like it's from the same place. Anyway here are some roughs of locations!

I've done a lot of creating over the course of this year but this is one of the things I'm quite proud of! I've been reworking these designs for a long time now and finally locked them down and have created a cute little story for them that I'm hoping to finish in the next few months!

Just finished this tonight. So happy with how it turned out. This is the High Priestess of Hewa. She is blind to this world because she sees directly into the spirit world. She communicates directly with the goddess of her people and is loved by many:

So, I've been working so hard and diligently on INITIUM, but over the holidays (right at the beginning of the new year actually) my computer crashed in the middle of a photoshop save and corrupted all the files I had open. So all that work is gone. I've been struggling to get back into the groove, feeling really demoralized. But I'm trying to keep drawing by working on other pages, as well as any art related or not to INITIUM. So here's what I came up with. I like how it turned out, maybe I'll do the other girls like this:

Throwback post! I really wish I had more time to work on casual art. The Queens brain child is kind of casual but I mean more stuff like this, maybe one day! :

And this is the Moto Kingdom!! I really love the progression of these. I'm really happy with the new version of the queen in her royal clothing. All of these Queens are heavily inspired by West African (not one country specifically) architecture, clothing and names.

Some more updated artwork! I flushed out the designs for the Emperor and her attendants and came up with some names. I also changed the drag...
